Medicated Muffins (RECIPE)

One of the most discrete, and fun, ways to ingest your medical cannabis is through food! With all this extra time we are still at home, why not experiment with some cannabis-inspired baking? Here’s one of our favorite recipes for zucchini cannabis-infused muffins.


  • 1 ½ cups grated zucchini
  • ½ cup melted cannabutter
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown or date sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pignolis (optional)

How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix together zucchini, melted homemade cannabutter, olive oil, and sugar. Once combined, mix in the eggs one at a time until just blended. Sift together all dry ingredients and mix into zucchini mixture. If you chose to add nuts, fold them in gently.

Step 3

Line your 12-count muffin tin with cupcake wrappers (get creative and make it fun!), and divide batter equally between each cup. Bake for approximately 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The tops should spring back to the touch and appear slightly brown. Each muffin will have approximately 5-10 mg of THC, which is at or below the recommended beginner’s dosage. Remember, start slow. When ingesting/eating medical cannabis, it takes longer to feel. Be sure to go very slow if this is your first time baking edibles and eating them at home.
